Community School Liaison Program

Service provides:

• support and information to children and families whose children may be experiencing difficulties, either at school or at home

Supports include:

• information and referral to community resources
• an initial assessment and consultation
• counselling for children and families
• parenting support
• advocacy between families, schools, and social agencies
• small group sessions to address specific issues

Objectives include:

• supporting children's emotional and social well-being
• enhancing in-school functioning
• enhancing the school, family, and youth relationships
• improving family functioning and well-being

• Elmworth School
• Harry Balfour School
• La Glace School
• Peace Wapiti Academy
• Robert W Zahara School
• Sexsmith Secondary School

• Wembley Elementary School
• Whispering Ridge Community School

• students in kindergarten to grade 12
• who attend partner schools within the County of Grande Prairie
