Home Support

Service provides:

• practical in-home support to individuals and families experiencing disruptions of normal family routine
• information and referral to other programs and agencies in the Grande Prairie area

Includes:

• basic light housekeeping
• meal preparation
• home management and budgeting
• companionship
• transportation and accompaniment to outings such as groceries, shopping, or appointments
• respite for caregivers of people experiencing illness or people with special needs
• high quality, confidential, and non-discriminatory services

• residents of the County of Grande Prairie
• who may be experiencing short- or long-term disruptions to their typical family routines, including: pre- or post-natal, seniors, pre- or post-hospitalization, emotional stress, long- or short-term illness

• contact the Home Support Co-ordinator to arrange a home assessment

Fee is determined by income on a sliding-scale. There is no charge for an assessment.
