Description
Provides apartment accommodation for low-income senior citizens who cannot afford private sector accommodation.

Service offers:

  • a range of well maintained, secure, and comfortable housing options for independent seniors of low to moderate incomes

Halmrast Manor and Hardie Manor:

  • safe and secure self-contained accommodations
  • studio and one-bedroom units
  • secure building (accessible only by key card or intercom system)
  • on-site coin operated laundry facilities
  • security cameras in building

Haig Tower:

  • safe and secure self-contained accommodations
  • one-bedroom units
  • secure building (accessible only by key card or intercom system)
  • on-site coin operated laundry facilities
  • security cameras in the building

Courtland Place:

  • safe and secure self-contained accommodations
  • one-bedroom units
  • in-suite laundry facilities
  • parking

Magrath:

  • safe and secure self-contained accommodations
  • one-bedroom units
  • on-site coin operated laundry facilities

Affiliation: Partnered with Lethbridge Housing Authority and Government of Alberta.
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • older adults
  • whose income falls below local limits
  • and are functionally independent
Courtland Place, Haig Tower, and Magrath targeted to:
  • 60 years and older
Hardie Manor targeted to:
  • 55 years and older
Halmrast Manor targeted to:
  • 50 years and older

  • complete medical form available online
  • visit website for housing locations 
Pet policy:
  • units are not pet friendly
Applicants are prioritized on the basis of need. Community residency requirements may also be in place.
