Distributes food hampers to eligible community residents.

Service provides:

hampers on a weekly basis

Includes:

meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, canned goods, pasta, cereals, assorted toiletries, and other items as available

Affiliation: Viking area churches, Viking / Beaver Family and Community Support Services
Key Provider: volunteers

Eligibility

Yes, Service targeted to:

residents of the Kinsella, Viking, Bruce, Holden, or East Beaver County areas

Application Process

Service Access: By Appointment, To access service:

call the Viking / Beaver Family and Community Support Services (VBFCSS) office by 4:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon at 780-336-4024 to recieve a hamper on Wednesday

Hampers are distributed on a weekly basis, however clients are advised to contact VBFCSS if they require emergency food supports.
