Service provides:

  • a free training initiative available in schools, workplaces, and community groups that provides information to strengthen an individual's existing supportive skills while emphasizing the importance of self-care along with information regarding mental health and suicide prevention

Includes:

  • identifying and training youth as well as adults who support this age group such as teachers, coaches, and more
  • workshops and skills training
  • reducing stigma and increasing awareness with regard to youth mental health issues
  • fostering diverse collaborative partnerships and developing a common language
  • using proper language to reduce stigma
Affiliation: Partnered with Alberta Health Services.
