Description
Offers a co-ed program for youth who would like to gain valuable skills to help with feelings, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships.

Service provides:

  • a co-ed program for youth who would like to gain valuable skills to help with feelings, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships
  • interactive ways to learn about important topics, the opportunity to see how other youth go through similar struggles, strategies and tools to cope with everyday stressors, and the opportunity to make new friends

Includes:

  • Pre-teen Workshop - discuss topics on stress, feelings, thoughts, communication, and building a 'feelings first aid kit'
  • Teen Workshop - discuss topics such as stress and anxiety, depression and suicide, drugs and alcohol, relationships, and technology safety
Key Provider: contracted youth mental health professionals
Eligibility

  • Gryphon Youth Group - students in grades 7 to 12
  • Phoenix Youth Group - students in grades 4 to 6
