- Offers an opportunity for youth to gain hands-on work experience, real-life job skills, and make a difference in the community.
Service provides:
- opportunities to gain hands-on work experience and real-life job skills while making a difference in the community
Activities may include:
- assisting with summer programs
- mentoring younger children and youth
- co-ordinating events
- assisting with office and administrative duties
- acting as camp leaders
- assist in the design and roll-out of virtual fundraisers
- and more
Training may include:
- first aid / cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development certification
- workshops on topics such as resume and cover letter writing, diversity training, financial literacy, and Microsoft Office (such as Word and Excel)
