Description
Provides wrap-around services for at-risk students to support them in their educational journey toward high school graduation.

Service provides:

  • support for children and youth by providing a range of co-ordinated services to students and families

Includes:

  • Success Coaches - dedicated staff members for students to turn to when they are struggling to maintain focus and participate in class
  • Mental Health Therapists - on-site therapists to work with students or parents who require more support
  • Roots and Wings - in-home family support to prevent family breakdown or child mistreatment
  • nutritious food programming
  • programming after school and during school breaks
  • mentoring of youth via a caring adult who spends regular time supporting their mentee

  • kindergarten through grade 12
  • who attend a participating school (Abbott Elementary, Delton Elementary, Eastglen High School, Ivor Dent Elementary / Junior High, John A McDougall Elementary, Norwood Elementary, Spruce Avenue Junior High, St. Alphonsus Elementary / Junior High)
