Description
Offers 1-on-1 virtual homework support once a week with a trained tutor for students struggling to keep up with homework, exams, and online assignments.

Service provides:

  • 1-on-1 virtual tutoring support to junior high students
  • a focus on the individual strengths, knowledge, and experiences, with the aim of providing learning support for and building self-esteem for learners
  • school skills foundations such as time management, studying hacks, and different learning techniques to use in their studies
Affiliation: Partnered with Edmonton Public Library.

Yes, Service targeted to students:
  • age 7 to 14
  • who are struggling to keep up with coursework

When registering, please specify if the child has any specific needs or challenges in a particular subject, as well as times that work best. Commitment is one hour per week. Homework meetings are currently being offered virtually due to COVID-19. Participants need to have access to Wi-Fi and a digital device in order to join virtual homework meetings. Referral Process: No

Registration is first come, first serve. If spots are filled for 1-on-1 tutoring, applicants will be placed on a waitlist and contacted when a spot is made available.
