Description
Provides care and education to those patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and specific auto immune diseases.

The goal of the program is to assist patients in achieving their optimal functional independence in addition to helping them cope with the presence of a chronic disease.

This clinic provides:

  • follow-up assessment and reinforcement of education
  • blood work
  • injections

Key Provider: licensed practical nurses (LPNs), orthopaedic technologists, registered nurses (RNs), rheumatologists

Service Access: Professional Referral Required, Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information. A referral is sent directly to the physicians office. Please include past medical history and current medication list.
