Offers a bus pass free of charge to qualified seniors that is valid for use on conventional local transit service during off-peak hours only.

Service provides:

  • a bus pass free of charge to qualified seniors that is valid for use on conventional local transit service during off-peak hours only

Includes:

  • a package of non-transferable monthly passes

Passes are valid:

  • for travel within Sherwood Park only on regular transit
  • weekdays 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and after 6:00 PM
  • weekends and holidays

Passes are not valid on the Mobility bus. 

Affiliation: Partnered with Strathcona County Transit.
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • residents of Strathcona County
  • who are 65 years and older
  • with a household income of less than $28,785 per year for single or $46,745 per year for a couple
