Supports parents to learn how they can build their child's brain during their early years.

Service provides:

  • education for parents about ways they can build their child's bran during their early years
  • an introduction to the different developmental areas of the brain and how to support a child's brain development while finding fun ways to build the brain through play

Includes:

  • in-home support from an Early Childhood Outreach Worker who will help with practicing what was learned and build on family strengths
  • goal setting
  • parent-child activites
  • parent education
  • family support
  • healthy meals and snacks
  • referrals to other services

Eligibility
Yes,  Service targeted to:
  • parents / caregivers and their children
  • who meet the Low Income Cut Off (LICO) through Statistics Canada
Program entry is based on the Canadian Social Determinants of Health.
