Description
The Adult Feeding / Swallowing Service offers help to adults who have eating and swallowing problems.

This service offers help to adults to:

  • Be able to eat and drink safely
  • Get the nutrition and fluids they need, and
  • Have a good eating experience with their families / caregivers.

Key Provider: occupational therapists (OTs), psychologists, radiologists, registered dietitians, social workers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs)
Eligibility
Yes, Adults 18 years of age and older.

Service Access: Professional Referral Required, Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information. Consult available with occupational therapy, social work and psychology.
