Assists individuals with vision loss in the development of skills needed for independent travel.

Service offers:

  • independent travel skills for individuals with vision loss

May include:

  • sighted guide technique
  • travelling with a white cane
  • how to find and cross intersections
  • how to use public transit in accessing community resources and services
  • instruction on how to move safely both indoors and outdoors
