Provides trauma-informed support, referral, and information to victims of crime and tragedy.

Service offers:

  • support to victims of crime and trauma

Includes:

  • personal victim support by staff and volunteers providing immediate crisis intervention and support, face-to-face visits (temporarily suspended due to COVID-19), and telephone contact
  • staff and volunteers provide an initial point of contact to navigate the justice system
  • information to victims regarding the status of their case, court proceedings, and dispositions
  • Victim Impact Statement forms and assistance completing forms such as restitution forms and financial benefits for victims of crime forms
  • court orientation (with mock trial)
  • court accompaniment (if needed)
