Special Transit

Service provides:

• a specialized, shared-ride, curb-to-curb transportation service for individuals in the community who cannot safely access the regular public transit system due to physical or cognitive disabilities

Includes:

• casual trips at various times and locations on an inconsistent basis
• subscriptions for trips that recur at regular times for an extended period of time such as travelling to work, school, repeated medical appointments, or certain day programs
• charter trips to facilities where many clients wish to travel and Special Transit is not otherwise available

Casual trips can be booked 2 weeks in advance.

• persons with physical or cognitive disabilities
• who qualify through a functional assessment
• and cannot safely access the regular public transit system due to said disabilities

• drop in or visit website for registration form
• submit completed registration form by fax, mail, or e-mail
• submit a Subscription Request Form by fax, mail, or e-mail to book subscription trips

$3.25 per trip or $43.75 monthly pass for seniors. $3.25 per trip or $70.50 monthly pass for adults.
