Service offers:
- outreach supports and groups at the community outreach office, the emergency shelter, or with outreach staff at the Medicine Hat Police Station (when safety may be a factor)
Includes:
- a 24-hour helpline
- 1-on-1 outreach support for individuals affected by family violence, including information about family violence and support to access services in the community
- groups for adults, children, and youth (of any gender) who have been impacted by family violence
- Safe Families Intervention Team (SFIT) - outreach workers and police officers collaborate to provide a coordinated and consistent response to families in need of intervention and community referrals
