Provides an emergency shelter for individuals who are experiencing family violence.

Service offers:

  • an emergency shelter to individuals with or without children who are experiencing family violence

Includes:

  • 30 beds
  • individual bedrooms for families (those without children may be asked to share a room when space is limited)
  • a wheelchair accessible bedroom
  • a communal living space with amenities such as a kitchen, dining room, living room, television (TV) lounges, a gym, and a laundry room
  • play spaces and a day care facility for children
  • meals
  • support
  • information
  • safety planning
  • referrals to other community resources
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • individuals fleeing family violence
Accepts all genders. Individuals who are homeless may also be eligible based on assessment.
Application Process

Assessment for suitability required prior to admission. Assessments can be done over the phone or in person. Certified and licensed service animals with registration card / proper documentation welcome. Emotional support or therapy animals not accepted.
