- Offers help for people who find it hard to move around inside their homes or out in their communities
Offers support for people who live in rural areas and have fallen, are at risk of falling, or who have trouble moving around by:
- assessing their ability to move around (mobility)
- helping them choose canes, crutches or walkers (mobility aids)
- seeing if their homes need special safety equipment
- referring them to other services
Also helps people find out if the cost of their walking aid is covered by Alberta Aids to Daily Living.
