Provides a registered savings account to help individuals save long-term and reduce their income tax amounts.

Service offers:

  • non-taxable registered savings plan with annual limits dependent on past contributions and household income
  • RRSP can be utilized towards the Home Buyers' Plan and Lifelong Learning Plan to help with the cost of buying a first home or toward the cost of education
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • Canadian residents 18 and older
  • with a valid social insurance number
Application Process
Service Access: Registration Required, To access service:
  • visit a financial institution and open an RRSP
  • make contributions to the RRSP
  • contact the financial institution in which the RRSP was opened to withdraw funds
  • fill out the required forms to withdraw funds for the Home Buyers’ Plan and the Lifelong Learning Plan
