- Provides support and advocacy for individuals who have experienced sexual violence as they navigate the legal system, as well as specialized information, education, and support to those who have experienced sexual assault recently or in the past, as well as their families.
Service offers:
- information about the criminal justice system, its processes, and options in reporting
- accompanying clients to police, crown prosecutor, and court environments
- assistance in writing a Victim Impact Statement and filling out Victim Compensation forms
- post-court follow up
