Service offers:
- up to 14 sessions for individuals impacted by sexual violence
- up to 6 sessions for support persons
Topics include:
- effects of sexual abuse including immediate impact, emotional and behavioural reactions, and practical issues related to sexual assault
- counselling topics including information on sexual abuse and sexual assault, sexual violence and its social context, anger, depression, trust, grief and loss, self-esteem, assertiveness, guilt and shame, body image, sexuality, power and control, and developing effective coping strategies
