Service offers: 

  • maintenance, construction, rehabilitation (environmental), woodworking, and year-round based activities
  • personal and interpersonal life skills development
  • professional support staff
Affiliation: Alberta Environment and Parks (Cypress Hills Provincial Park, Fish Creek Provincial Park, Kananaskis Country), Easter Seals Camp Horizon, Kamp KiwanisKey Provider: executive directors, group leaders
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to individuals:
  • who meet Alberta Human Services Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) funding requirements 
  • referred by a Disability Services Coordinator in Calgary Region or South Region 
  • residing in Calgary region and capable of independent use of public transit
  • capable of moderate physical activity in outdoor environments
