Service offers:

  • self-employment training to participate in the labour market designed for Albertans who are unemployed

Includes:

  • instruction in business plan development
  • 1-on-1 business counselling
  • coaching, guidance, and follow - up before the start up of a personal business

Typically, assistance for training and living costs will be available for up to 26 weeks. Program availability varies by region.

  • with a viable idea for starting or taking over a business
  • and with demonstrated personal commitment (cash or capital) toward the business plan
