Supports the development of partnerships designed to create training and work experience projects that lead to employment for First Nations members.

Service provides:

  • funding for training and work experience projects that lead to employment for First Nations members (primarily living on reserve)

Project requirements include:

  • initiated and managed by a First Nations Band, Treaty Council, or tribal organization
  • a partnership among First Nations, industry / employer, and government
  • custom designed for the individual group
  • classroom training or synchronous e-learning and work experience when appropriate
  • meets specific industry employment needs
