- Supports the development of partnerships designed to create training and work experience projects that lead to employment for First Nations members.
Service provides:
- funding for training and work experience projects that lead to employment for First Nations members (primarily living on reserve)
Project requirements include:
- initiated and managed by a First Nations Band, Treaty Council, or tribal organization
- a partnership among First Nations, industry / employer, and government
- custom designed for the individual group
- classroom training or synchronous e-learning and work experience when appropriate
- meets specific industry employment needs
