Service provides:

  • a postpartum depression (PPD) support group for mothers feeling overwhelmed or anxious after childbirth

Includes:

  • sharing experiences
  • understanding the effects of PPD
  • learning coping skills
  • managing anxiety and anger
  • improving communication
  • developing routines for self-care
  • promoting healthy relationships

Mothers can bring their babies to the program.

Limited childcare available based on need for children 13 months and older.

Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • first-time mothers or mothers with multiple children
  • who are experiencing postpartum depression (PPD)
  • or who have anxiety / issues related to parenting and self-care
  • and their families
