Service offers:
- up to 4-6 sessions of one on one support to assist with the immediate and short-term needs of people experiencing family violence
Includes:
- assessment of needs
- emotional support
- risk assessments
- safety planning
- psycho-social education
- system navigation and supported referrals to medium and long term supports
- Lives on the Line initiative
- Finding Our Voices support group for individuals who have experienced family violence and have left their relationship
Affiliation: Partnered with the Alberta Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to offer the Pet Safekeeping Program.
