COVID-19 UPDATE: This program is now delivering, for free, groceries, food bank deliveries, medications, and prescriptions. The office has modified its service but continues to support seniors with referrals, information, deliveries, and income tax filing. Helps seniors access government programs by providing information and referrals.

Service provides:

  • information and referrals for seniors

Includes:

  • a Resource Centre with written information resources
  • computer access to information
  • telephone or in-person consultation and referral
  • assistance to access appropriate services / programs
  • assistance with completion of application forms
  • advocacy on behalf of client
  • Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)
  • presentations on seniors programs
  • information and presentation on fraud awareness for seniors
Affiliation: Partnered with Camrose and District Support Services inter-agency network.
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • seniors
  • adult children caring for aging parents
Income tax filing also available to younger individuals with low income.
