- programs for students who want to study, work, or volunteer abroad
- advising for students looking to obtain the Certificate in International Learning
International Student Services include:
- immigration advising for international students available all year round
- guidance on how to apply to the university, obtain a study permit, register for courses, and make plans to enter Canada
- emergency bursaries and loans for international students
- work experience program for international students
Welcome and orientation services include:
- airport welcome booth
- campus check-in facilitated by a welcome ambassador
- orientation week programming
- information sessions for parents of new international students
- peer program that matches new international students with senior students for mentorship
- online orientation and videos about what to expect when moving to Edmonton and starting life as an international university student
