Work for Women Employment Program
Elizabeth Fry Society of Northern Alberta, The
- Description
- Supports women and gender-diverse individuals in pre-employment training and skills that assists them in potentially obtaining a job placement and long term employment. The program also supports employment and educational counselling.
Service provides:
- an integrated approach to employment services for women and gender-diverse individuals who are at risk or are in contact with the legal system
- support navigating records and employment
Workshop and individual 1-on-1 topics may include:
- supports for finding employment
- employment and / or educational goal setting
- upgrading of educational level
- support in resume / cover letter writing
- interview skills
- identifying transferable skills
- job confident skills
- self care and self esteem
- job searching
Additional workshops are available that pertain the Work 4 Women program.
