Offers settlement support to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) refugee claimants in navigating the Canadian social systems and understanding the Immigration and Refugee Board process.

Service provides:

  • information, support, and guidance to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) refugee claimants in their settlement journey

Includes help with:

  • completing the Basis of Claim
  • finding a lawyer
  • applying for a work permit
  • health care
  • finding safe housing
  • meeting new friends
