Case Management


Description
Provides culturally competent case management services for victims and their family members, along with community outreach and education.

Service offers:

  • support with risk assessment and developing individualized safety plan for at risk and vulnerable community members
  • support for family violence victims / survivors to navigate the justice system
  • interpretation at court if required
  • supportive counselling and court preparation
  • advocacy and support to access housing, financial resources, and legal services
  • information and education of victims regarding their rights
  • promotion of awareness of family violence and providing education and training about family violence to service providers, volunteers and community members
  • training to service providers that includes mainstream providers to enable practices that are sensitive to cultural considerations
