Description
Provides financial assistance to low income families with children ages 18 and younger.

Service offers:

  • non-taxable benefit dependent on household income and number of children in the household
  • payments are made separately from the Canada Child Benefit payments and they are issued in February, May, August and November
  • individuals are automatically considered for these payments when they file their annual tax return and qualify for the federal government's Canada Child Benefit
