- individuals that have a mental or physical disability that regularly stops them from doing any type of substantially gainful work
- individuals that have a disability that is long-term and of indefinite duration, or is likely to result in death
- individuals age 65 and under
- individuals contributed enough to the Canada Pension Plan

Waiting Period: Yes,It can take up to 120 days (4 months) from the date of application submission, including required documents, to receive a decision.
If more than 120 days (4 months) have elapsed without communication, please reach out to Service Canada for further assistance.
