Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • refugees
  • who meet Canada's eligibility and admissibility requirements
  • and are willing to resettle in the community of their sponsor
Sponsors are required to be groups with no less than 5 individuals. These are usually formed within parishes of the Edmonton Archdiocese, but may also include other churches and ethnic organizations or associations.

No cost to refugees. The sponsoring group is required to have sufficient financial resources to support the refugee(s) being sponsored for up to 1 year after their arrival in Canada.
