- Provides a program to help immigrant and refugee women develop tools and strategies to enhance their employability in the retail sector.
Service offers:
- 11 weeks of in-class training and 4 weeks of work experience with training
- combination of training at both in class and on the job situations
- lessons to teach retail vocabulary, customer service, and numeracy
- opportunity to earn certificates for Basic Food Safety and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System ( WHMIS )
- computer training and equipment use
- reimbursement of childcare and travel expenses

- Canadian Language Benchmark of level 4 or higher
