Offers the support of a neutral mediator to create a safe place for conflict resolution.

Service provides:

  • the support of a third party, neutral mediator to create a safe place for people in a dispute to have a discussion and explore how to resolve a conflict
  • free, confidential, and voluntary mediation services

Topics of conflict to resolve include:

  • neighbourhood - property boundaries, pets, noise
  • family issues - aging parents, parenting plans, blended families
  • parent and teen - curfews, chores, dating
  • community groups - parent / sport team disputes, not-for-profit volunteer boards

The average mediation session is 2 hours with additional sessions scheduled if necessary.
