Description
Provides support to street-involved women and girls.

Service offers:

  • non-judgmental and holistic support to street-involved women and girls, using a harm reduction approach¬†

Includes:

  • prenatal and postnatal care
  • birth control and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
  • support related to shelter and housing, education, legal issues, mental health, and Child and Family Services
  • transportation to and from appointments
  • advocacy to increase the capacity of professionals to work with clients in a more helpful and holistic way
  • staff attendance at births upon request
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • women
  • who are street-involved
Includes those living rough, in a shelter, in Housing First or another supportive housing program, and those who are involved in sex work or in buying and selling drugs.
