Offers Cree language and culture programming and First Nations, Metis, and Inuit student support services through Braided Journey's program for all students.

Service offers:

  • academic supports to First Nations, Metis, and Inuit (FNMI) students and families within Edmonton Catholic Schools

Services for students include:

  • supports for transitions
  • career exploration opportunities
  • connections to Elders
  • FNMI Literacy supports

Supports for families include:

  • strategies to help students succeed
  • supports for building relationships with teachers and the school community
  • Indigenous Elder assisted mediation processes between families and schools
  • connections to Elders

Also provides professional development opportunities for teachers within Edmonton Catholic Schools.
