Individuals receiving Income Support, Alberta Adult Health Benefit, and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) are automatically eligible. See website for more eligibility details.

Application Process

Service Access: By Appointment, To access service:

contact a Child Support Services office
interview required with a Child Support Worker

Items to bring to the interview include:

birth and marriage certificates
previous agreements or court orders, if available
address, telephone number, and a recent picture of your child's other parent
record of support payments already made, if applicable
confirmation of your income including your last 3 years of Income Tax Notices of Assessment and 3 recent paystubs, if applicable
confirmation of children's expenses including childcare receipts, music lessons, tutoring, and athletic activities, if applicable
