Provides shelter and support services for women and children fleeing domestic violence, with safety measures in place.

Service offers:

  • a safe and secure shelter for women, and their children, who have experienced abuse

Includes:

  • encouragement and support in accessing community resources to assist with individual basic needs
  • 24 hour crisis support
  • up-to-date information regarding domestic violence issues
  • School Program - a classroom is provided with a certified teacher through Battle River Regional School Division following the Alberta Curriculum for children in grades 1 to 9
