Four Directions Family Support

Service offers:

• support to promote the well-being of children, families, and individuals through Aboriginal culture and traditions that are based on the teachings of the Medicine Wheel

Includes:

• direct and confidential support
• working with families at the point of crisis and promoting positive traditional parenting and living skills that prevent out of home placements of children
• traditional parenting workshops
• children's cultural and literacy programs
• encouraging individuals to engage in self-care through integration of conventional health care and cultural practices
• education about health promotion
• support with referrals to community health clinics and agencies
