NOTE: COVID 19 UPDATE- THIS SERVICE WILL REMAIN OPEN To respond to cases of elder abuse and reduce elder abuse in the community.

Service offers:

  • response and investigation of suspected cases of elder abuse
  • support and guidance to abuse victims and their families
  • assistance to other service providers working with abuse victims
Affiliation: Carya, Calgary Police ServicesKey Provider: nurses, police officers, program coordinators, social workers
Eligibility

  • older adults age 55 and older 
  • older adults who have experienced any type of abuse (physical, emotional, financial)
