Offers training on the prevention of family violence to the general public as well as workshops on family violence to service providers.

Service offers:

  • training and education for service providers, organizations, businesses, friends, family, neighbours, service user groups and the general public

Includes:

  • REAL Talk
  • How to Help Someone Impacted by Family Violence
  • Introduction to Family Violence
  • Family Violence Across the Lifespan
  • Cut It Out (for hair stylists and estheticians)
  • Domestic Violence in the Workplace (for businesses, management and HR professionals)
  • Healthy Relationships (designed for youth)

Affiliation: Partnered with Community Initiatives Against Family Violence, Government of Alberta - Ministry of Children and Family Services, Edmonton John Howard Society, Family and Community Support Services of Stony Plain, Rise Up Society, and Alberta Council of Women's Shelters.
