  • advocacy and capacity building

Includes:

  • establishing partnerships and connections between members and health services
  • promotion of health awareness and prevention
  • training and support services
  • development and implementation of innovative strategies to serve members
  • ensuring accountability of resources
  • ensuring that communities have a voice in the policy and program changes
  • Aboriginal interpretation and liaison at the regional hospital
  • patient transportation

  • members of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, Chipewyan Prairie First Nation, Fort McKay First Nation, Fort McMurray No. 468 First Nation, and Mikisew Cree First Nation
