Description
Provides 1-on-1 support to individuals who have experienced sexual assault.

Service provides:

  • 1-on-1 support to women and men who have experienced sexual assault

Includes:

  • trauma counselling for survivors of sexual assault, rape, and sexual abuse
  • support for family and friends of survivors
  • accompaniment to appointments, the hospital, or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
  • advocacy and referrals to community resources
  • support group and individual counselling for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse
  • educational programs including Child Sexual Abuse Safety, Sexting and Internet Safety, Healthy Relationships and Age of Consent, First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse
  • parents' support group, with childcare available
