Description
Provides affordable room and hospitality services for seniors with modest income who are functionally independent or functionally independent with the assistance of existing community-based services.

Service offers:

  • affordable room and hospitality services with daily aids to living offered in conjunction with other public services agencies

Includes:

  • housekeeping
  • meal services
  • recreational programs

Lodges are not health care centres. Residents are responsible for arranging their own medical and nursing needs.

Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • 65 years and older
  • who are Canadian citizens, have landed immigrant status, or have residency equal to that required for Canadian citizenship
  • who are Leduc County residents
  • who are mentally, physically, and emotionally capable of providing for their own needs
