Provides a program to help young people with unsafe fire behaviours.

Service offers:

  • confidential intake and inquiry system
  • free confidential one-on-one visits at home or other safe environment to help young people with unsafe fire behaviours
  • a educational strategy tailored to the young person
  • certificate of achievement on completion
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • children age 3 to 17 involved in fire play; voluntary, non-mandatory program. Can be older if intellectual impairments exist.

  • referrer may contact the program if they believe a young person with any form of fire-setting behaviour may benefit
