Description
Offers housing for women with mental illness.

Service offers:

  • long - term support and comfort to 10 women with a history of ongoing mental illness and low incomes in a home in central Edmonton

Includes:

  • a safe, group - living home environment.
  • own private bedroom
  • help in making sure medications are taken daily
  • a service plan based on the client's interests and needs (volunteer opportunities, community classes, recreation, and more)
  • basic life skills training (communications, conflict resolution, housekeeping)
  • opportunities for community involvement
  • activities and outings in the surrounding community
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • women
  • 18 years and older
  • with mental health issues
  • and with a source of income or ability of pay rent
