Provides housing supports to individuals who are homeless.

Service offers:

  • supports to individuals or families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness

Includes:

  • access to financial assistance through a rental subsidy
  • weekly meetings with a worker to support individuals through their transition
  • access to Elder and Cultural Support
  • developing client-driven goals to help maintain housing
  • workshops to enhance housing skills
  • monthly social gatherings to network with others
  • finding meaningful daily activities
  • support with budgeting, basic needs, advocacy, and referrals for individuals already involved with one or more programs at the Friendship Society
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to individuals who are:
  • chronically homeless
  • at risk of homelessness
  • individuals must be participants in other Red Deer Native Friendship Society programs
